2K Inbound Marketing Experts Are Ready to Rock Inbound12

    Posted by Jasmine Henry

    Highlights of Inbound 12

We're counting down the days until August 27th, when the entire IMA team is headed to the world's largest gathering of Inbound Marketing Specialists. HubSpot's Inbound 12 Conference will bring an estimated 2,000 professionals to the Hynes Conference Center in Boston for 3 days of learning, networking, hands-on demos and excitement. We're anticipating a lot of late nights, early mornings and some of the world's best insight into cutting-edge Inbound Marketing technique.

IMA President Bill Faeth will be giving a talk on his own experience dominating a highly competitive vertical. I got a sneak peek at the presentation material, and you don't want to miss it. As if you needed any more evidence that Inbound 12 is going to rock, the guest list includes legends such as Rand Fishkin, Mike Volpe and Cyndi Lauper! That's right, the 80's pop legend is giving an exclusive concert Tuesday night. While each of the 60 breakout sessions and 6 keynote speeches looks downright amazing, here are seven of the presentations we're most excited about:

    1. Marcus Sheridan

Marcus Sheridan Inbound 12Sheridan is giving two talks at Inbound 12, titled How to Create a Culture of Inbound With Your Clients and 7 Content Ideas to Blow Up Your Brand, Business and Sales in 2012 and Beyond. While exploding content sounds a little dangerous, his talks are guaranteed to be filled with the same originality and honest insight that makes his blog The Sales Lion one of our favorite reads week after week.

    2. Bill Faeth

Bill Faeth Inbound 12IMA President Bill Faeth will be sharing insight into How to Use Inbound Marketing to Dominate a Vertical. Golf-Pro turned entrepreneur, Faeth's background includes a number of wildly successful start-ups and inventing an entire industry. Though I'm not allowed to share too many details, Faeth's talk is sure to include some actionable insight on how even brand-new Inbound Marketing agencies can dominate the most competitive verticals.

    3. Laura Fitton

laura fitton inbound 12HubSpot Inbound Marketing Evangelist and successful entrepreneur Laura Fitton's set to share her social media expertise in a talk titled Whither Twitter. If you're wondering about her credentials, it would be hard to find anyone more qualified on the topic: Fitton literally wrote the book on Twitter, co-authoring Twitter for Dummies. We're most excited about her insight into self-promotion without being obnoxious, in her presentation Inbound PR: Get the Media Coverage You Always Wanted Without Being a Self-Promotional Jerk.

    4. Sam Mallikarjunan

HubSpot experiments manager and all around awesome guy Sam Mallikarjunan's will be sharing some niche knowledge on How to Use Hubspot for eCommerce. If his performance in the recent Hubspot Marketing Debate against Dan Zarrella is any indicator, Sam's going to rock.

    5. Pamela Vaughan

Pamela Vaughan Inbound 12Inbound Marketing Manager and HubSpot blogger Pamela Vaughan will share her expertise on business blogging in a talk titled Blog Marketing: A Plan to Get 100K Blog Readers. If you can point out a blog that doesn't want more subscriber's, they're clearly lying. HubSpot's own remarkable success has left us thrilled to hear Vaughan's insight.

    6. Gary Vaynerchuk

Gary Vaynerchuk Inbound 12Thursday's keynote speaker is bestselling marketing author Gary Vaynerchuk. We're intrigued by the title of his talk on the future of social media, Care Immensely or Die: This is a Bigger Cultural Shift than You Realize. While we don't wish death on the ambivalent, we're confident he's no believer in talk of a social media bubble.

    7. Dan Zarrella

Dan Zarrela resized 600HubSpot's social media scientist in residence, Dan Zarrella, will be sharing the latest facts and figures on social media usage in an update of The Science of Social Media. Dan's prior talks on this topic have included fascinating insight into the formula of each retweet and Facebook like.
