Free Twitter Tool That Will Change Your Tweeting

We all need streamlined analytics to enhance our social media marketing especially with Twitter since it moves so fast. We found SocialBro in an article, 5 New Twitter Tools to Boost Your Marketing published by Social Media Examiner a few weeks ago and we had to share.

Not only are the analytics awesome, but the app is free.  We chose to install the Chrome app and have found it very easy to use even though it is very robust.  There are many features that we would like to spotlight, but you really need to try it out for yourself as you can customize many fields and filters to fit your Twitter needs so we are just going to show you a couple of features for the sake of brevity.

Active users

SocialBro allows you to see who is actively using Twitter in real-time. Can you think of a better way to target Twitter users than to know that are currently engaging?  This screen shot will show the number of active users Right Now.  As we said this is real-time.  The data is updating every 3-5 seconds.

You also have the ability to filter your real-time analytics based on Lists and Searches.

Tools

I think the feature icons in the screen shot below is self explanatory, but one of the features we wanted to highlight is the "Best time to tweet".  This feature uses an algorithm to analyze your tweet history and give you, obviously, the optimum times to tweet for engagement of ReTweets and Mentions.  Post your best stuff at these times.

Influence Stats

See which of your followers have influence and are active and how much authority they have.

Are you tweeting 24 hrs a day? Do you post targeted tweets to specific time of the day?  This analytic should help you target your tweeting times and the content of these tweets based on the follower in a time zone and your best time to tweet. We have 13.3% of our followers in the Pacific Time Zone and we are located in the Central Zone.  This is great to know so we can target the West Coast at optimum times of the day.
