I Don't Have Time For Inbound Marketing!

This is the #1 response that potential customers give to us after an introduction to Inbound Marketing. I really can't blame them as inbound marketing is very robust and can be very intimidating to a business owner or marketer that is not familiar with the methodology. Below are some common questions and answers for anyone that thinks they may not have enough

time to implement an Inbound Marketing Strategy.

Q - I don't have time or know how to blog.

A - Sure you do, you just don't know it yet. Blogging is simple. Ask your customer service representatives what the most commonly asked questions are from your customers and then answer those questions by writing a blog article.  We aren't talking Shakespeare here, just 200-400 words or a short video to answer the questions.  This should take you about 15-20 minutes to write and I am sure your customers will have a lot of questions they would like answered.  Write the questions down and create titles for each blog article, schedule a day for for each title to be posted, and hold yourself accountable.

Q - Inbound Marketing will take me away from running my business.

A - Allocate 1-2 hours per day in the morning before your start your daily routine to your inbound marketing efforts. It is not realistic for a business owner to spend 30-40 hours per week creating content, setting up campaigns, tracking leads, and managing the campaign ROI. This is why we use and recommend HubSpot as an All-In-One Marketing Software.  HubSpot is one of the most important elements to save time with your online marketing efforts as it houses everything you need in one platform and is very easy to use.  If you are not able to allocate any time to a new online marketing strategy then hire an Inbound Marketing Agency.

Q - I don't know anything about Inbound Marketing and don't have time to learn.

A - Michael Gerber, author of the best selling book the E-Myth states "You must work on your business.  Not in your business". You started a business.  You didn't start a job.  Marketing is an integral part of your business for potential customers to find you and for you to convert them into leads and new customers. You can learn how to market your company online in 1 hour a week via a company like HubSpot or by hiring a Certified Inbound Marketing Agency to teach you.

Learning inbound marketing is like anything else that is new.  It is a little scary because you don't know how it works.  Not only can a company like ours help you with this educational process, but the internet is filled with a wealth of great articles to get you started as well.

    Takeaway

Inbound Marketing is a platform that allows you as a business owner to create authority, build trust, and get found via the internet by your potential customers.  If executed correctly with 5-10 hours per week your potential customers will be ready, or close to ready, to purchase the 1st time you actually have a conversation with them.

Your website and content that you create will provide answers to your customers questions and solve their problems which will push them down the sales funnel and closer to making a purchase.  Do you think your competition is doing this? I don't.  Which will give you a competitive advantage over them.

This article is not a sales pitch to use Inbound Marketing Agents.  What it is intended to be is an expression of how inbound marketing can help small and medium sized businesses generate more traffic to your website, increase lead generation, and convert your leads to customers without having to spend a lot of time or money on traditional marketing.  We believe HubSpot is the key to this equation as it automates the process for you.

If you have any questions we would love to hear them in the comments below or your can email us.  We want to see you succeed and save money while crushing your competition.
