Our resident editor and perfectionist, Angela is a stickler for perfect formatting and even better grammar. She joined the team with a unique background in journalism, expository writing, and an internship with the Nashville Scene food critic. Angela received a BA in East Asian Studies from Oberlin College in December 2011.
A recent college graduate, Angela has already worn many writing hats, ranging from proofreader to student reporter to freelance writer. She’s excited to now add “content creator” to that hat collection, which she developed by taking creative writing courses at Oberlin College. Angela's resume highlights include interviewing and profiling independent artists for a Nashville-based music website, contributing various kinds of stories to her school’s independent news outlet, and taking a journalism course taught by a former New York Times reporter. All of these experiences have primed her for the world of blogging and content creation, where she gets to put her research and writing skills to good use.
