A former golf professional and career entrepreneur, Bill has successfully launched multiple startups in industries that include eCommerce, transportation, and even a nationwide glow-in-the-dark mini golf business. In 2008, Bill discovered inbound marketing as one of HubSpot’s earliest users. He quickly became a convert to the inbound methodology, as it enabled him to grow his businesses faster than ever, while also reducing his marketing spend.
Bill has since become a nationally-recognized expert on business growth and development, entrepreneurship, and marketing. As Founder of Inbound Marketing Agents, he applies his tremendous passion for teaching and educating business owners and marketers about the art of inbound marketing, so they can successfully compete with larger companies and bigger budgets. He has delivered keynotes and training seminars across the country, including Boston, Miami, Atlantic City, Los Angeles, Niagara Falls, and Nashville to educate marketers and business owners about best practices for inbound success.
Bill has a marketing degree from UCLA, where he played on the golf team prior to turning professional in 1992. He is Inbound Certified and HubSpot Certified and leads IMA as a Platinum HubSpot Partner Marketing Agency.
After five years of competitive professional golf and establishing his first four startups, Bill met the love of his life, Brea, and married her. They reside in the Nashville area with their two wickedly smart daughters. His girls are proof that the apple doesn't fall from the tree - meaning his wife, Brea, of course!
Even though Bill will admit that he is a workaholic, he still tries to find time now and then to enjoy a nice glass of wine, travel the country in search of the best slice of pizza, and play a few rounds each year to keep his golf game in shape.
